RYAN Reynolds kicked off September’s red-carpet rush by taking ‘Mayday’ to New York City — stepping out alongside co-stars Maria Bakalova and Kenneth Branagh at AMC Lincoln Square on Sept. 1.

Over in London, Andrew Scott was everywhere: he joined Damian Lewis and Brendan Fraser for the European premiere of ‘Pressure’ at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square on Sept. 1, then turned up again the next day for a ‘Pressure’ photocall on HMS Belfast.

Venice, meanwhile, started filling up fast for the 83rd Venice International Film Festival. George Clooney appeared for the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement press conference on Sept. 2, as arrivals continued at the Hotel Excelsior Venice Lido.

Maggie Gyllenhaal was photographed arriving at the Excelsior as well, with Laura Dern also spotted at the festival base.

Also in Venice: Danny Boyle, Guy Pearce, Claire Foy and Jack O’Connell posed together at a photocall for ‘Ink’ on Sept. 2. Boyle was additionally honoured with a Creative Impact in Directing award during a pre-opening night party at the Hotel Excelsior on Sept. 1, where O’Connell, Foy and Pearce also attended.

Elsewhere on the circuit, Jason Momoa, director Kitao Sakurai, Andrew Koji, Callina Liang, Noah Centineo and Hirooki Goto gathered for a ‘Street Fighter’ photocall at Sensō-ji in Tokyo on Sept. 2, while Mark Wahlberg, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Nicole Beharie, Elegance Bratton and Chester Algernal Gordon attended the Los Angeles premiere of ‘By Any Means’ at the Paramount Theatre on Sept. 1. Jodie Comer, meanwhile, appeared at a London photocall for ‘The Death Of Robin Hood’ at the Soho Hotel on Sept. 2.
