Your account

You are responsible for activity carried out through your Pop Quest account and for keeping your sign-in details secure. Do not impersonate another person, misrepresent an affiliation or use the service to gain unauthorised access to someone else’s account.

What you can post

Pop Quest is for pop-culture conversation. You can post takes, comments, replies, polls, quizzes, images and links where the relevant feature is available. Do not post unlawful material, targeted abuse, threats, spam, malicious links, content that violates someone else’s rights, or material intended to compromise the service or another person’s account.

Your content remains yours

You keep ownership of content you create. By posting it to Pop Quest, you give Pop Quest the limited permission needed to host, display, format, distribute and technically process that content as part of operating and promoting the Pop Quest service. That permission ends when the content is deleted except where copies reasonably need to remain for backups, safety records or legal reasons.

Moderation

Posts and comments may be checked automatically or reviewed by moderators. Pop Quest may hold, limit, remove or refuse content where it appears unsafe, abusive, unlawful, spammy or inconsistent with these terms. Reports can also trigger review.

News and external links

Pop Quest may create original editorial summaries and discussion material from reporting by third-party publishers. We aim to keep the source visible and link to original reporting. External websites are independent of Pop Quest, and their content, availability and policies are outside our control.

Availability and changes

Features can change as Pop Quest develops. We may update, suspend or retire features where necessary for security, reliability, legal compliance or product changes. We will avoid deliberately removing access to account controls without a reasonable alternative.

Ending your account

You can request account deletion from Settings. Pop Quest may restrict or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, threaten the service or other users, or create significant safety or legal risk.

Using Pop Quest sensibly

Pop Quest is provided as an online community and entertainment service. Nothing on the site should be treated as professional legal, medical or financial advice. Where a story links to a source, check the original reporting for the underlying details and context.
