IT’S official: Prince Harry is back on British soil — and one of Princess Diana’s nieces is already buzzing about it.

Lady Eliza Spencer, 34, reacted to the surprise return on Wednesday, telling The Mirror UK: “It’s exciting!” The daughter of Diana’s brother Charles Spencer added that she’d like to catch up with her cousin, saying: “We would love to be able to find some time to visit.”

Harry arrived in Birmingham the same day with Meghan Markle and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The family flew from Los Angeles on a private jet; the flight was reported to cost $12,000 per hour across a 10-hour journey.

So far, they’ve kept a low profile: there’s been no public appearance since they landed.

The trip comes after news last week that Harry and Meghan are relocating, six years after stepping back from royal duties and leaving England. A source has said King Charles III is the “real reason” behind Harry’s decision. Charles, who announced a cancer diagnosis in February 2024, is said to be looking forward to time with Harry, Meghan and the grandchildren.

Even with the move, Harry and Meghan reportedly won’t return as working royals, and will continue their business ventures while living in a non-royal residence. They’re also not selling their Montecito home, where they’ve lived since 2020 — a $14.5 million mansion.
