KATE Lawler could be heading back into the Big Brother universe — this time with a mic.

The Big Brother 3 winner, 46, is in talks to host the show’s upcoming visualised podcast, which will run as a sister show alongside the next series on ITV2. The idea is that Lawler would interview housemates, bringing her reality TV roots and radio background together in one neat, full-circle booking.

One source described Lawler as an “ideal” fit because she knows exactly what it’s like to live inside the house. They also pointed to her fanbase from years in radio, suggesting long-time viewers would welcome the choice.

Lawler isn’t the only name that’s been in the mix. Chris Hughes — the Love Island star and former Celebrity Big Brother contestant, 33 — has also been speaking to bosses about the potential presenting gig.

Meanwhile, Big Brother itself is gearing up to return “soon” for its 23rd season. AJ Odudu, 38, and Will Best, 41, are set to come back as hosts.

And the show’s promising a big twist: a “new house every week”. ITV’s official Instagram posted a video teasing “fresh chaos, daily” with the warning that “everything can change in the blink of an eye”. The run is also set to be the longest yet, stretching across eight weeks.

Last year, 60-year-old Richard Storry won the non-celebrity series, becoming the oldest winner of that version of the programme to date.
