KEITH Urban is reportedly taking Nicole Kidman’s latest romance rumours as a weight off his shoulders — not a heartbreak.

After earlier claims he was “absolutely devastated” to see his ex-wife getting close to private equity investor Michael Reinstein, a new account says the country star is actually “relieved that she’s moved on” and that there’s “no jealousy” over Reinstein.

The shift in mood is said to connect to how their marriage ended. Urban, 58, was allegedly the one who wanted out of his nearly 20-year marriage to Kidman, 59, and had been dealing with guilt about hurting the Oscar winner.

Kidman sparked speculation with Reinstein after they were spotted spending time together in Portofino, Italy. The rumours grew when Reinstein was later seen picking her up from an airport in Los Angeles, with the pair driving away in his Ferrari. Neither Kidman nor Reinstein has publicly confirmed they’re dating.

Urban’s camp hasn’t publicly backed up any of it — his representative didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

Meanwhile, Urban has faced his own romance chatter since the split, including speculation involving country singer Karley Scott Collins and his guitarist Maggie Baugh. Both women have denied any romantic involvement.

Kidman filed for divorce from Urban in September 2025, citing irreconcilable differences. The divorce was finalised in January. They share two daughters: Sunday Rose, 18, and Faith Margaret, 15.

Do you believe exes can genuinely feel relieved when the other person moves on — or is it never that simple?

Portofino to an LA airport pick-up in a Ferrari is basically the most tabloid-romance trajectory possible. I’m curious if this is just timing and optics, or if we’ll ever get an actual confirmation.

The ‘no jealousy’ bit is doing a lot of work here. But honestly, if you’ve felt guilty about ending a long marriage, seeing the other person happy probably does hit like a release.
