NICOLE Kidman says she’s “embracing love” as she steps into life after her divorce from Keith Urban — but she’s not pretending it’s been easy.

In a British Vogue interview published Thursday, the 59-year-old described a period where she felt “very fearful and deeply vulnerable,” calling that kind of exposure “strange” as she faces a future that’s “completely unknown” to her right now.

The Practical Magic 2 star said she didn’t expect her life to take the turn it has. “You make all these plans… and then it’s… not,” she explained, adding that she’s had to “adjust” and “adapt.” Her mindset now is to keep moving: “Trying things, making mistakes, failing, getting back up, moving on, embracing love, staying open, keeping the heart open and the possibilities.”

Kidman and Urban, 58, separated last year after nearly two decades of marriage. They share two daughters: Sunday Rose, 18, and Faith Margaret, 15. Their divorce was finalised in January.

Kidman credited “time” and “incredible mentors” with helping her ride out the transition, including advice to “take it on the chin” rather than getting stuck on what’s fair. She also spoke about trusting herself: “I know my character. I know my talent. I know who I am,” adding that if something doesn’t connect or a situation is “humiliating,” she’s learning to take the onus off it.

She described herself as “feelings-centered” and not prone to overthinking. “I lead with my heart… I’ll give it a go,” she said, admitting it can surprise people who expect her to be more measured.

The personal reflections arrive after Kidman made headlines last month for cozying up to private equity investor Michael Reinstein during an Italian getaway. She hasn’t confirmed any new romance. Urban, meanwhile, has been linked to Karley Scott Collins — a claim the 26-year-old country singer has denied.
