LIVE from New York, Elsie Hewitt has had a proper night out—and she’s giving her ex Pete Davidson a very public thank-you for it.

After dancing along at Olivia Dean’s NYC concert on August 18, the model posted on Instagram and credited Davidson for making it happen. “Thanks to my baby daddy for the tix!!!” she wrote, shouting out the Saturday Night Live alum, with whom she shares daughter Scottie Rose.

Hewitt, 30, also explained just how constant Dean’s music is in their house. “We dance to Olivia Dean every day,” she captioned the post, calling it “our album” and adding that Dean’s songs have been with them “thru every up and down this year.”

In the same post, Hewitt joked about “whoever fumbled” Dean being the inspiration behind The Art of Loving—Dean’s tour, and music, often explores growth after heartbreak.

And it’s not just background music: Hewitt said Dean’s song “Baby Steps” soundtracked a big moment at home, writing, “Scottie crawled for the first time to this song.” Scottie Rose is eight months old.

Hewitt and Davidson split earlier this year, but in July they said via their representatives that they’re “cooperatively co-parenting” and that their daughter’s wellbeing “remains our top priority,” adding they’re committed to giving her love from both of them.

Davidson has previously spoken about how important fatherhood is to him. In an August 2025 interview on The Breakfast Club, he said that after his father Scott Davidson—a firefighter—died while responding to the September 11 attacks, he grew up wanting to be “a dad.” Hewitt has also talked about the intensity of new motherhood, telling Parents in June that she’s surprised she can keep going even when exhausted, describing it as a “visceral and primal change.”
