TWO Coronation Street co-stars have just taken their romance from the cobbles to Instagram.
Jonathan Howard (who plays Carl Webster) and Olivia Frances-Brown (Jodie Ramsay) have confirmed they’re dating, going public with a set of holiday snaps from Ibiza. The pair were pictured cosy together on sunbeds for a selfie, and also posed side-by-side during a night out at a club.
They weren’t on their own, either. Jonathan and Olivia joined fellow couple Jamie Lomas (from Hollyoaks) and his fiancée Jess Bell on the trip.
Jonathan was previously married to actress Elodie Yung, known for playing Elektra Natchios in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Thony De La Rosa in Fox series The Cleaning Lady. The two share a daughter, welcomed in 2018, and were together for over a decade.
A source close to Jonathan said he and Elodie separated over a year ago and “remain close friends and co parents”. Elodie has also spoken publicly about their wedding, saying it took place during COVID lockdown with friends present and both mums dialled in on phones from Paris and the UK.
Meanwhile, Olivia split from her fiancé, actor James Nelson Joyce, back in March. Joyce, who appears in BBC drama This City is Ours, has recently been linked to Love Island star Samantha Kenny.
Do you like a full-on ‘hard launch’, or should celebs keep it quieter for longer?
