REACHER is back in action on Prime Video this week — and he’s swapping Maine for Philadelphia as season 4 kicks off on August 12.

Alan Ritchson’s Jack Reacher is living a relatively calm life until a late-night subway ride turns grim: he witnesses a woman killing herself on the train. Reacher starts digging for answers, expecting something straightforward, only to stumble into an unsettling conspiracy that could get him killed.

Season 4 is based on Gone Tomorrow, the 13th novel in Lee Child’s best-selling series. Prime Video is rolling it out with the first three episodes landing on August 12, followed by weekly episodes every Wednesday.

Over on Netflix (August 13), My Brilliant Career arrives as a six-episode, turn-of-the-century Australian drama with a modern streak. Phillipa Northeast plays Sybylla Melvyn, a young woman determined to become a writer rather than someone’s wife — a radical ambition in her era. Sent to her grandmother Mrs. Bossier’s lavish countryside estate (Anna Chancellor), Sybylla finds her plans complicated when she begins falling for two men: wealthy Harry Beecham (Christopher Chung) and exiled Englishman Frank Hawden (Jake Dunn).

Also on Netflix that day, Tires returns for season 3, picking up after Shane (Shane Gillis) and Will (Steve Gerben) take ownership of Valley Forge, their family auto repair shop in Pennsylvania. Their big win comes with a nasty downside: they’re staring down financial ruin, Will thinks Shane isn’t taking work seriously enough, and Shane is distracted by dating — and getting caught by the police.

To finish the week on Hulu, The Wizard of the Kremlin (2025) runs 130 minutes and follows television producer Vadim Baranov (Paul Dano) as he’s recruited to help launch Russia’s next political leader: Vladimir Putin (Jude Law), selected as Boris Yeltsin’s successor. Directed by Olivier Assayas, the film draws parallels between Putin’s rise and Donald Trump’s 2016 election.
