Nicole Kidman ‘might have to re-home her pets’ after Keith Urban divorce

Key Points
- Kidman's planned return to Australia complicates keeping many ranch animals because of strict import rules.
- Staff currently care for dogs, cats, chickens, alpacas and fish at her Nashville property.
- Following her split from Urban, pet custody and relocation logistics remain unresolved and sidelined.
NICOLE Kidman could be forced to give up some of her beloved pets following her divorce from Keith Urban.
The star’s menagerie includes a dog, several cats, chickens, as well as alpacas and fish.
Kidman currently has the animals at her Nashville ranch — but she’s planning to move back home to Australia, and that’s going to make it impossible for her to take her zoo with her.
Oscar winner, Nicole 58, filed for divorce from the country star Keith, also 58, after 19 years of marriage in September.
“They have a huge menagerie of animals on the farm that are being looked after by the staff at the moment,” an insider told Radar Online.
“Nicole has kept them all for now because it’s just not feasible for Keith to take them on – he doesn’t have the right setup. But it’s not the end of the conversation, it’s just been put on the back burner for now.
“There are too many laws in Australia about bringing animals into the country.
“It’s going to be hard enough with the dogs and cats they have – shipping over alpacas and all the others is simply a no-go.”
