STRICTLY Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood has revealed he’s currently living in a caravan while renovating his £2million Northamptonshire mansion.

The 61-year-old star, a fixture on the BBC show since 2004, chose the unusual accommodation to save money during the extensive work on his King’s Cliffe home.

Craig told the Daily Mail’s Eden Confidential column, “I am living in a caravan at the moment. It’s cheaper than storage.”

He bought the seven-bedroom riverside property for £1.8million in 2021 and shared glimpses of its gutted interior on Instagram last year.

The renovation is well underway after months in the demolition stage, with Craig expecting completion around August 2026.

Recently, he faced neighbour complaints over plans to add a luxury party terrace with a swim spa and hot tub, amid concerns about noise from his garden gatherings.

One resident warned that existing noise was already “excessive” and feared the raised terrace would make it worse without noise reduction measures.

Despite the criticism, Craig is pressing ahead with his vision for the property, balancing his Strictly career with his ambitious home project.

The caravan life might be a short-term sacrifice, but the end result promises a stunning upgrade for the Strictly veteran.
