BRANDI Carlile has hit pause on her UK and European plans, shifting her tour from this autumn to spring after what she called “personal circumstances”.

The 45-year-old singer broke the news on Instagram, telling fans she was “so profoundly anxious” about the call and knew it could be “disappointing and inconvenient” — particularly for anyone who’d lined up international travel.

The run was meant to celebrate her 2025 album Returning To Myself. Carlile had been due to kick things off in October, but the rescheduled dates will now begin in March next year.

She also warned that the reshuffle comes with some changes: a few venues have switched due to availability, and one stop — Lisbon — has been dropped entirely. Addressing Portuguese fans directly, Carlile said it was the only show they “could not make work” and promised the team would do everything possible to return “as soon as we can.”

There is a silver lining for those able to stick with it: Carlile said the move has allowed her team to add more shows, with extra dates now set for Wolverhampton and Copenhagen. Ticketholders in England can request a full refund, and will also get priority presale access to the new dates.

The rest of her schedule isn’t on ice: the tour is still due to start in the US as planned, beginning in Maine, and she’s set to play the All Things Go festival in Maryland at the end of September. Carlile, known for rock and alternative country, has collaborated with Elton John and has won 11 Grammy Awards.
