ALAN Halsall has spoken about life after his relationship with Ellie Dolan ended earlier this year. According to a new report, the pair split a few months ago and the decision was mutual.

The Coronation Street actor, 43, said he’d been “down in the dumps” at the time, but has since bounced back. He also suggested he’s putting romance on hold for now, referencing past relationships as having felt “cursed”.

Instead, Halsall is concentrating on what he called the most important girl in his life — his daughter — and focusing his energy there rather than on dating.
