SPORTS hero Shaquille O’Neal is setting the record straight after a viral rumour claimed he sent flirty direct messages to Sabrina Carpenter.
Speaking on his “Big Podcast,” the NBA legend laughed off the alleged exchange and denied sending the messages, joking that he has “way more game than that.”
The rumour spread after social media posts surfaced showing explicit messages supposedly sent from an Instagram account that appeared to belong to O’Neal.
“First of all, ladies, the diesel got way more game than that,” he said.
During the podcast, Shaq read some of the alleged messages out loud, making it clear he believed the screenshots were fake and likely manipulated.
“Damn, baby, I would keep your farts in a cologne bottle and spray it on me every day,” the star read aloud, quoting the alleged messages.
“Just jokes, I’m Shaq. What’s your name, baby? And Sabrina says, ‘I know who you are. You’re way too famous to be sending messages like that.’”
O’Neal also pointed to what he said was a photoshopped image connected to the rumour, while guest Jim Jones weighed in on how quickly false stories can spread online.
Both suggested that viral posts are often driven by attention and algorithms rather than facts.
Neither Shaq nor Sabrina Carpenter has commented further beyond the podcast discussion.
The story arrives amid continued public interest in both stars’ personal lives, but for now, Shaq is making it clear he wants no part in the fake-DM narrative.
