DYLAN Carter, the South Carolina singer who made waves on The Voice, has died in a car crash.

The 24-year-old was driving a 2026 Tesla sedan on U.S. Route 21 just after 11 PM when his car veered off the road, struck a pole and fence, then rolled over.

He was the sole occupant and later died from his injuries in hospital.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash and have not disclosed whether fatigue, medical issues or intoxication played a role.

Locals quickly identified Dylan as the driver, including Moncks Corner’s mayor, where Dylan was due to perform on Monday night.

Dylan gained attention on The Voice Season 24 in 2023, impressing all four judges with his blind audition singing Whitney Houston’s “I Look to You.” He chose Reba McEntire as his coach and dedicated his audition to his late mother.

Reba posted a tribute following news of his death.

Dylan grew up in St. George, South Carolina, around 50 miles from Charleston.

His promising music career was tragically cut short at just 24 years old.
