RAPPER Ray J is escalating his legal dispute with Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner, claiming former Vivid Entertainment boss Steve Hirsch could testify about how Kim Kardashian Superstar was released in 2007.

According to Ray J’s attorney, Howard King, Hirsch may be called as a witness if Kim and Kris continue to deny involvement in the tape’s rollout.

The latest development comes after Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner reportedly filed sworn declarations denying they orchestrated the release of the sex tape. Kris called claims that she was involved in the commercial exploitation of her daughter “absolutely false.”, according to TMZ.

Ray J’s side argues those statements are untrue and says Hirsch could help clarify what happened behind the scenes.

The dispute is part of a broader legal battle that began when Kim and Kris sued Ray J for defamation in October. Ray J later countersued, alleging they violated a settlement agreement that prevented those involved from publicly discussing the tape.

While reports have long indicated the tape could not have been released without sign-off from both Ray J and Kim Kardashian, the current disagreement centers on how much involvement Kim and Kris had in arranging the deal. Representatives for Kim and Kris declined to comment.

This whole situation is a mess. If they’re lying, it’ll be interesting to see how it all unfolds, but I doubt it’ll change much.
