KIM Kardashian and Kris Jenner are firmly denying claims that they orchestrated the release of Kim’s infamous sex tape, according to newly reported court documents.
In sworn declarations tied to their ongoing legal dispute with Ray J, both women rejected allegations that the tape’s release was planned as a publicity move.
Kim reportedly called Ray J’s accusation that she, her mother, and others worked together to release the tape and mislead the public “a lie.”
Kris Jenner also strongly denied any involvement, calling claims that she directed the tape’s commercial release “absolutely false” and saying the allegations have been deeply offensive and damaging for years, according to TMZ.
The filings are part of a larger legal battle that began when Kim and Kris sued Ray J for defamation in October. Ray J later filed a countersuit, alleging they violated a prior settlement agreement related to public discussion of the tape.
The dispute continues to draw attention as all sides battle over long-running claims tied to one of pop culture’s most talked-about controversies.
