Gino D’Acampo ‘questioned by police at airport’
THE cancelled TV chef had a holdall full of cash while travelling back to the UK from Italy.

Key Points
- Airport sniffer dog alerted to D'Acampo's bag, prompting police to question him
- He allegedly told an officer he was carrying "about six or seven grand" in his holdall
- Incident occurred while he was flying from Rome to London
YOU would think Gino D’Acampo would be a little bit more careful with his cash now that he’s persona non grata in tellyland and his businesses are said to be failing.
Not so, according to a tale from this week’s Pop Bitch.
The ex TV chef and former cat burglar was taken to one side at an airport last week after his bag caught the attention of a police sniffer dog.
And when the officer asked Gino if he was carrying any cash in his holdall, he is said to have casually replied “about six or seven grand”.
Hopefully isn’t wasn’t a pensioner’s lifesavings.
Oh, and Gino was on a flight from Rome to London, should you care.
As you were.
