Matthew Perry’s Friends Scripts and Banksy Art Up for Charity Auction

Key Points
MATTHEW Perry’s personal belongings, including signed Friends scripts and an original Banksy, are set to go under the hammer in a charity auction this June.
The sale will raise funds for the Matthew Perry Foundation, established after the actor’s death in 2023 to support addiction recovery and fight stigma.
Among the highlights is the pilot script of Friends, originally titled Six of One, signed by Perry and his co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer.
The starting price for the pilot script is $500, with a collection of 26 key episode scripts also available from $1,000.
Other items include Perry’s Screen Actors Guild award for best ensemble comedy, a replica of the iconic yellow peephole frame from Monica and Rachel’s apartment, and a custom Batman ping-pong table.
The auction also features Perry’s art collection, with an original Banksy piece expected to fetch over $800,000.
Lisa Kasteler Calio, CEO of the foundation, said: “Matthew believed addiction should be met with compassion and science, not stigma and silence.”
The auction will be held at Heritage Auctions’ Dallas showroom and online on 5 June, with items displayed in Beverly Hills from 18 to 29 May.
Proceeds will fund the foundation’s work expanding access to evidence-based addiction care.
Perry, best known as Chandler Bing on Friends, struggled with addiction throughout his life and died aged 54 from ketamine toxicity.
Legal proceedings related to his death have resulted in guilty pleas and sentences for several individuals connected to supplying the drug.
This auction offers fans a chance to own a piece of TV history while supporting a cause close to Perry’s heart.
