A FORMER senior staff member has launched legal action against 50 Cent, accusing the rapper of firing her for refusing to cover up his financial troubles.

Monique Mayers, who worked with the star for 12 years, claims she was pressured to hide assets during his bankruptcy and to file a false police report against his driver.

When she refused, Mayers alleges 50 Cent retaliated by dismissing her and orchestrating a campaign of harassment and intimidation that continues to this day.

The lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, accuses the rapper of intentional emotional distress and invasion of privacy, seeking damages and a court order to stop further retaliation.

50 Cent’s representatives have strongly denied the accusations, describing Mayers as a “disgruntled former employee” terminated for cause over five years ago.

They also insist the lawsuit is a “transparent attempt” to gain money beyond the statute of limitations and say any threats were reported to authorities promptly.

The case raises fresh questions about the rapper’s business dealings and his treatment of former staff, with the legal battle set to unfold in court.
