ANT McPartlin is opening up about family life in a sweet new chat with longtime co-host Declan Donnelly.

On the latest episode of their podcast, Hanging Out with Ant and Dec, Ant shared that he would happily welcome more children with wife Anne-Marie Corbett.

The TV favourite, 50, said fatherhood has been the most meaningful part of his life, calling it “the best, the absolute best being a dad.”

Ant shares son Wilder with Anne-Marie and is also a stepdad to her daughters, Daisy and Poppy, according to The Sun.

Reflecting on his experience as a parent, Ant said becoming a stepfather first gave him a special introduction to family life before welcoming baby Wilder.

He described parenthood as something that “changes you for the better” and said all the sleepless nights and early mornings are worth it.

Dec Donnelly also got candid during the conversation, sharing how much he loves being a dad to daughter Isla and son Jack with wife Ali Astall.

In a playful moment, Dec said he wished he had started earlier and once wanted “10” children, before quickly revising that number to three.

Both presenters agreed that being dads far outweighs any career success they’ve had on screen.

Ant said fatherhood “far surpasses anything that we’ve achieved in our career,” while Dec described having children as discovering “the meaning of life.”

Ant and Anne-Marie have largely kept son Wilder out of the spotlight since his birth, choosing to share only limited glimpses of their family life.

Still, Ant’s latest comments make it clear that he’s loving every moment of being a dad — and may be open to expanding the family even more.
