Gwen Stefani Opens Up About the Spiritual Moment She Says Led to Welcoming Son Apollo at 44

GWEN Stefani is sharing a deeply personal story about motherhood, faith, and what she describes as a life-changing spiritual awakening.

In a recent interview with Hallow: Prayer & Meditation, the singer reflected on the period before she became pregnant with her third son, Apollo, at age 44.

According to Stefani, she was going through an emotional time and strongly hoped to have another child with then-husband Gavin Rossdale.

“I was desperate at this point during all this,” Stefani, now 56, said. “I really wanted to have another baby. I really did. I couldn’t, and I was old.”

She said a series of conversations with a man she worked with, who was studying the Torah and speaking about his own spiritual awakening, had a major impact on her.

Stefani also recalled that her eldest son, Kingston, had been praying for another sibling. She said that just weeks later, she became pregnant with Apollo, calling the experience a “gift” and her “first miracle.”

The No Doubt star shares three sons — Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo — with Rossdale. Stefani and Rossdale were married from 2002 to 2016.

Since then, Stefani has moved forward in her personal life and married country star Blake Shelton in 2021. The couple, who began dating in 2015, tied the knot at Shelton’s Oklahoma ranch.
