A SCARY moment unfolded in Paris for the cast of Ready or Not 2 when a fire reportedly broke out at the Bristol Hotel during the film’s promotional events.
Stars including Sarah Michelle Gellar, Elijah Wood, and Kathryn Newton were at the hotel when the incident began in the kitchen around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The hotel was evacuated as emergency crews responded, with about 400 people reportedly cleared from the building while a press junket was underway.
Despite the disruption, everyone involved — including the cast and hotel guests — was reported safe, and the situation was quickly brought under control, according to TMZ.
Kathryn Newton appeared to reassure fans soon after, sharing a smiling Instagram post following the incident. With Ready or Not 2 still set to arrive in Europe on April 8, the unsettling moment does not appear to have derailed the film’s promotional tour.
