HOLLY Willoughby is now officially a former TV star - after her one remaining television show was cancelled.

You Bet! -- a dodgy reboot she co-hosted with pal Stephen Mulhern -- has been mothballed by ITV bosses, according to The Sun.

It means the ex This Morning host now has less telly work than, say, Michael Barrymore or a former Love Island contestant.

“This will be another disappointment for Holly as she was so closely associated with the show and this was her first new, big project with ITV after she left This Morning," a source said

“But put together with the fact that Dancing on Ice and Celebrity Bear Hunt weren’t successes, it’s not a great look for Holly who’s always been talked about as TV’s golden girl.”

Chin up, Holly! There's always QVC.

Is Holly planning on making a comeback or is she just going to fade out quietly?

Honestly, it seems like the end of an era. Maybe she should consider doing something totally different? What do you think?

I guess that’s what happens when you test the waters with a show that nobody asked for. Bye-bye, Holly!

Seems like the Love Island alumni have outshone her lately. That’s quite a fall, isn’t it?

Why don’t we ever talk about how much pressure there is on TV hosts these days? Makes you wonder how many more will face the same fate!

Holly’s career was riding high for so long—who knew it could spiral so quickly? She should really rethink her next move. Or maybe just retire?

  7. @cillianmckinney says:

Somehow, Holly has managed to make herself less relevant than a reality TV star from last summer. Good luck with that!

  8. @helenacruz says:

Could this be a sign that daytime TV is shifting? What do you think might be next for her or the genre?

  9. @hollandvaughn says:

Seems like ITV is really cleaning house. At this point, will anyone remember Holly’s name beyond this week?

    Thank god!! Bye hun!
