JELLY Roll has revealed a tough bump in his weight loss journey after a collarbone injury forced him off his feet.

The country star shared in a recent YouTube vlog that he gained 12 pounds and admitted he’s been “afraid” to step back on the scale.

He reflected on his incredible transformation from 540 pounds to 265 pounds, which earned him a Men’s Health cover earlier this year.

“We hit the goal and it was right before the holidays,” he said, recalling how festive feasts and his injury disrupted his progress.

Jelly Roll explained the injury happened just days before Christmas, making him quit running, walking, and exercising for an “extended period of time.”

“I feel really fat, I feel really bloated, I feel like the scale’s gonna let me down,” he confessed, adding, “Avoiding weighing in has been the problem.”

Despite the setback, he still has big goals, including training for the New York City Marathon this fall and landing a shirtless cover on a major magazine like GQ or Rolling Stone.

He also emphasised that his Men’s Health cover was never the final target, revealing he’s still 40 to 60 pounds away from his ideal maintenance weight.

Jelly Roll has been candid about how his health journey improved his personal life, especially after starting testosterone replacement therapy.

“Now it’s a totally different thing,” he said.

“I’m chasing her around the house, you know what I’m saying? I’m like a teenage kid again!” he adding, referring to his wife, Bunnie Xo.

His honesty about the ups and downs of weight loss offers a real glimpse into the challenges behind the headlines.
