Princess Eugenie Expecting Third Child as King Charles Expresses Delight
Key Points
PRINCESS Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank are expecting their third child this summer, Buckingham Palace confirmed today.
The couple’s sons August, five, and Ernest, two, are said to be “very excited” about welcoming a new sibling.
King Charles has been informed of the happy news and is reportedly “delighted”.

Eugenie shared a touching photo on Instagram of her two boys holding a baby scan, captioned simply: “Baby Brooksbank due 2026!” with heart and baby emojis.
The new arrival will be 15th in line to the throne, nudging Eugenie’s great uncle, the Duke of Edinburgh, down one spot.
This will be the fifth grandchild for Prince Andrew, following the birth of Princess Beatrice’s daughter Athena last year.
The couple, who married in 2018 at St George’s Chapel, already share two sons and split their time between a Portuguese villa and a Kensington Palace cottage.
Just days before the announcement, Eugenie and Jack were spotted enjoying a rare date night in Notting Hill, looking relaxed and happy.
Eugenie has often spoken fondly of motherhood, and the family clearly looks forward to expanding once again.
With the royal family continuing to grow, all eyes will be on the new arrival due to arrive later this summer.
