VICTORIA Beckham’s recent New York fashion triumph was overshadowed by the ongoing silence from her eldest son Brooklyn, who has now cut ties with his parents for nearly a year.

“It’s not just Nicola … Brooklyn did edit [the statement], he owned it fully … they’re not going to make up any time soon.

“There were points last year when an apology [from David and Victoria] would have worked, but not now.”

Brooklyn’s public break came in January when he accused his parents of prioritising the Beckham brand over their children, declaring, “I do not want to reconcile with my family.

“I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”

His wife Nicola Peltz-Beckham is believed to be a key influence in the ongoing rift, reportedly sceptical of the Beckham family.

Despite this, sources confirm Brooklyn fully owns his statement and the family is unlikely to reconcile soon, with missed milestones piling up, including David’s 50th birthday and Victoria’s fashion shows.

Victoria recently told NBC’s Today show, “We always put our children first,” underscoring the family’s desire to protect their kids despite the distance.

The fallout traces back to tensions around Nicola and Brooklyn’s wedding in 2022, where Victoria withdrew from designing Nicola’s gown, sparking a clash that still echoes.
