Victoria Beckham Reveals How She Blocks Out Noise From Brooklyn Clash
Key Points
VICTORIA Beckham has revealed how she keeps calm amid ongoing tension with her son Brooklyn by tuning out the public “noise” surrounding their family feud.
Speaking at the Time100 panel, the fashion icon said, “I learned a long time ago to really not listen to the noise, not focus on the noise. Someone’s always going to have something to say.
“I just don’t pay attention to it if that makes any sense.”
She added with a touch of dry humour, “Someone else will deal with it. I don’t want to know. That’s how I handle it, I suppose.”
The 51-year-old also credited her husband David Beckham for his unwavering support throughout the difficult spell.
“I have an incredible husband who supports me enormously. We’re always there for each other,” she said.
The family rift came to public attention after Brooklyn, 27, launched a scathing Instagram attack in January, claiming his parents tried to “ruin” his wedding day and expressing he does “not want to reconcile” with them.
Brooklyn reportedly began distancing himself from the Beckhams after marrying Nicola Peltz in April 2022, and despite Victoria and David’s efforts to mend fences, the eldest son has remained firm in his stance.
Victoria emphasised the couple’s commitment to their children, telling the Wall Street Journal, “We always put our children first.
“We love our children so much and we’ve always really focused on protecting our children.”
Her remarks mark one of the few times she has publicly addressed the family’s private struggles since the fallout erupted earlier this year.
