VICTORIA Beckham has finally addressed the ongoing family rift with her eldest son Brooklyn Beckham, insisting their priority has always been to protect and love their children.
The Spice Girl and fashion icon spoke to the Wall Street Journal, where she confirmed she and husband David have tried their best as parents despite the public scrutiny.
“I think that we’ve always — we love our children so much,” Victoria said.

“We’ve really taken our families on this ride with us,” she said.
The family estrangement deepened last May when Brooklyn and Nicola skipped David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebrations, and since then communication has been cut off, with lawyers now handling any contact.
Brooklyn’s explosive six-page Instagram letter in January detailed his grievances, including feeling controlled and embarrassed by his mother’s behaviour.
