Celebrity Stock Exchange & Virtual Points System Terms

This section governs participation in the PopQuest Celebrity Stock Exchange (“CSE”) and the use of PopQuest Points (“Points”). By accessing or participating in CSE, you agree to these terms.

1. Nature of the Service

The Celebrity Stock Exchange (CSE) is a simulated digital trading game operated solely for entertainment purposes.

CSE does not constitute gambling, betting, gaming, financial services, investment activity, securities trading, or any regulated financial product under UK law or any other jurisdiction.

CSE does not represent real-world financial markets or real securities.

2. Closed Virtual Points System

PopQuest operates a closed-loop virtual points system.

Points:

  • Exist solely within the PopQuest platform;
  • Are digital gameplay credits;
  • Are not legal tender, electronic money, cryptocurrency, or financial instruments;
  • Have no monetary value outside PopQuest.

Points cannot be redeemed for cash, transferred between users, exchanged for goods or services, or converted into any monetary equivalent.

3. No Cash-Out or Withdrawal

Points and CSE shares cannot be withdrawn, redeemed, resold, or exchanged for money, cryptocurrency, gift cards, vouchers, or real-world goods.

PopQuest does not provide any mechanism for converting Points or portfolio balances into real-world value.

4. No Monetary Prizes

CSE does not award cash prizes, financial returns, or items of monetary value.

Leaderboards, rankings, and portfolio values are for competitive and entertainment purposes only and do not confer any financial entitlement.

5. Purchasing Points

Users may purchase Points as a digital product. When purchasing Points, you are buying non-refundable digital gameplay credits, except where required under applicable consumer protection law.

All Points purchases are final once credited to your account.

PopQuest reserves the right to suspend or reverse Points in cases of payment fraud, chargeback abuse, or technical error.

6. Price Fluctuations & Algorithmic Calculation

Celebrity share prices within CSE are determined using proprietary algorithms based on platform activity, engagement metrics, trend data, and other internal factors.

Prices may increase or decrease at any time.

PopQuest does not guarantee accuracy, continuity, or stability of pricing data.

PopQuest reserves the right to correct pricing errors, suspend trading, remove entities, or adjust calculations where necessary to maintain platform integrity.

7. Skill-Based Competitive Game

CSE is designed as a competitive digital strategy game. Outcomes depend on user decisions, timing, and engagement within the platform environment.

CSE is not a game of chance and does not involve randomised prize mechanics tied to payment.

8. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not:

  • Exploit bugs or technical errors;
  • Manipulate prices through artificial or automated activity;
  • Use bots, scripts, or automated systems;
  • Engage in fraudulent payment behaviour;
  • Attempt to trade or sell Points outside the platform.

Violation may result in suspension, account termination, forfeiture of Points, and removal from leaderboards.

9. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account.

Trades executed through your account are considered authorised unless reported promptly in cases of verified account compromise.

10. Platform Modifications

PopQuest may modify, suspend, or discontinue CSE features, pricing mechanics, or Points functionality at any time.

Points represent a limited, revocable licence to access digital gameplay features and do not constitute property rights.

11. Regulatory Position

CSE operates as a closed digital entertainment system. Points and shares have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money or money’s worth.

Accordingly, CSE does not constitute gambling under applicable UK law.

12. Limitation of Liability

PopQuest shall not be liable for losses of virtual portfolio value resulting from price fluctuations, platform changes, suspension of entities, or algorithm adjustments.

Users acknowledge that CSE participation carries no expectation of financial gain.
