Brad Pitt is said to be seeking an olive branch to end the decade‑long legal wrangle with Angelina Jolie over Chateau Miraval, aiming to settle before more courtroom headlines.

BRAD Pitt is reportedly looking to bring his years-long legal fight with ex-wife Angelina Jolie to a close, according to a new report.

The latest dispute centres on Chateau Miraval, the former couple’s French estate, after Pitt alleged Jolie sold her stake in the property without his approval.

A trial is currently scheduled for February 1, 2027, with mediation set for October 28, 2026.

Sources cited in the report claim Pitt has recently sought a compromise through Jolie’s legal team in hopes of resolving the matter before the end of 2026, according to Radar Online.

“No matter how much time and money Brad has plowed into the fight, this has to stop,” an insider said.

“Both sides have made their points, and it’s time to put the whole lawsuit to bed.”

The former Hollywood power couple has remained tied up in legal conflict since their 2016 split, with the ongoing battle drawing attention to both their business dealings and family tensions.

“Ten years of fighting is long enough,” said the insider. “His and Angelina’s reputations have both been damaged by this conflict.

“Nobody caught up in this mess is getting any younger.”

The report also notes that several of their children have reportedly distanced themselves from Pitt in recent years.

While neither star has publicly confirmed any new agreement efforts, the reported move suggests Pitt may be ready to turn the page on one of Hollywood’s most closely watched celebrity feuds.

Key Points

  • Pitt has reportedly pursued a settlement to end the Miraval ownership dispute ahead of trial.
  • Mediation is scheduled October 28, 2026, with trial set for February 1, 2027.
  • Insiders say the decade-long feud damaged reputations and family relationships, prompting calls to stop.

Why This Matters

Resolving the Pitt–Jolie dispute would end a decade-long, costly public feud over Miraval that has damaged reputations, strained family ties and set legal precedents for celebrity asset disputes, potentially sparing both parties more expense and exposure.
