Why They're In The News
KRIS Jenner just gave fans a major update on the future of The Kardashians.
While attending the Vanity Fair Oscars Party, Kris revealed that the famous family is currently filming what she counts as season 28 when combining Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Hulu’s The Kardashians.
“The best one was the first one, and the other best one is the one we’re doing right now,” Kris said, reflecting on the franchise’s long run.
She added that the series has become “the best home movies in the world.”, according to E! News.
Kris also looked back on how unexpected the show’s success has been, saying the family originally planned to simply see what happened.
According to her, the series was picked up for a second season before they had even finished half of the first.
As for whether she’d headline another Kardashian spinoff of her own, Kris shut that idea down for now.
She said she’s happy doing what she’s doing and would leave any future spinoff adventures to her kids.
The reality TV matriarch also shared that her focus these days is on family, friends, and the relationships that matter most to her.
Kris attended the event in a vintage 1995 Valentino Couture gown, with Corey Gamble by her side.
Her update comes after season seven of The Kardashians aired on Hulu in December.
Why This Matters
Kris Jenner’s update underscores the franchise’s enduring cultural power and signals continuity for fans, while her refusal to pursue a solo spinoff shifts focus to her children’s careers and preserves the series’ family-centered dynamic.
