A WOMAN has been charged in connection with the shooting at Rihanna’s Los Angeles-area home.
According to reports, 35-year-old Ivanna Lisette Ortiz was charged with attempted murder, multiple counts of assault with a firearm, shooting into an inhabited dwelling, and shooting at a motor vehicle.
Authorities allege Ortiz fired several rounds into the property while Rihanna was inside with her three children. Police later tracked a white Tesla Model 3 linked to the suspect to a shopping center parking lot, where Ortiz was arrested, according to TMZ.
Ortiz was booked and is being held on bail set at more than $10 million. Additional reports say she had previously been placed under psychiatric evaluation in Florida, and court records show her ex-husband, Jed Nikko Valdez Sangalang, was awarded full physical custody of their child in 2024.
Investigators also say Ortiz had posted troubling content online referencing Rihanna before the incident. The case remains a major development in the ongoing investigation surrounding the frightening shooting at the superstar’s home.
