COMEDIAN Rosie, 63, has been living in Ireland since President Donald Trump threatened to revoke her citizenship.

ROSIE O’Donnell has revealed she made a top secret visit back home to America – and it sounds like she did so just to double check that she still could still get through security!

The star, 63, has been living in Ireland since President Donald Trump threatened to revoke her citizenship.

She says she spent a fortnight with her family and reconnecting with her adult kids, who remained in the States.

Roise is a mom of 5, including Parker O’Donnell, 29, Chelsea O’Donnell, 27, Blake O’Donnell, 25, and Vivienne O’Donnell, 22, whom she shares with ex-wife Kelli Carpenter, and Dakota O’Donnell Rounds, 12, whom she shares with her late ex-wife, Michelle Rounds.

“I recently went home for two weeks and I did not really tell anyone. I just went to see my family,” she told Chris Cuomo during an appearance on SiriusXM’s Cuomo Mornings.

“I wanted to see how hard it would be for me to get in and out of the country.

“I wanted to feel what it felt like. I wanted to hold my children again. And I hadn’t been home in over a year.”

“I also wanted to make sure that it was safe for me before I brought my daughter this summer, where we plan to spend the summertime off from her schooling here with my family.”

Key Points

  • Rosie, 63, secretly visited the U.S. for two weeks to reunite with family.
  • She tested U.S. entry and exit procedures to ensure safety before bringing her daughter this summer.
  • O'Donnell has lived in Ireland after threats from Donald Trump to revoke her citizenship.

Why This Matters

O'Donnell's secret return underscores how political threats can disrupt personal lives and mobility, revealing the tangible toll of celebrity-targeted rhetoric on family reunions, residency decisions, and broader debates about citizenship, safety, and freedom of movement.
