Lisa Rinna says Real Housewives saved her career

LISA Rinna has credited The Real Housewives franchise for reviving her sagging career.

The actress, 62, joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills all the way back in 2014.

Before that, she was best known for playing Billie Reed on Days of Our Lives from 1992 to 1995.

When that gig ended, Lisa admits things were relatively dry on the work front – until Andy Cohen came calling.

“I think my reality television has led me to so many great things, and I’m grateful for that,” she said in a chat with Women’s World.

“All the funny memes and moments on Housewives… it was all good. Dancing with the Stars was a pivotal time for me.

“I love that show. It was life-changing for me. I was then able to go and do Chicago on Broadway and play Roxie Hart because I was able to dance. So that led to that.”

Lisa, who’s married to husband Harry Hamlin – also admits her two daughters, Delilah Belle Hamlin, 27, and Amelia Gray Hamlin, 24 – haven’t seen much of their mum’s early work.

“I don’t think my kids have seen anything,” she said.

“I don’t think they’ve seen Days of Our Lives. They’ve seen Housewives, of course, but they don’t really know Harry’s or my career.

“They’ve heard about them, but they haven’t really seen them much. And nor do they care. They really don’t.”
