LISA Kudrow has landed herself in hot water with her ‘Friends’ co-stars after spilling the beans on their ongoing residual earnings.
The 62-year-old actress revealed that the cast still rake in a staggering $20 million a year, more than 30 years after the sitcom first aired in 1994.
But her openness hasn’t gone down well, especially with Jennifer Aniston, who reportedly values privacy above all else.
An insider told Radar Online Jennifer was frustrated by Lisa’s comments, which also touched on the challenges Lisa faced on set, including being seen as “the sixth Friend” and feeling overlooked compared to Jennifer and others.
Though Lisa’s remarks weren’t aimed at her co-stars, they have caused a clear divide, with Jennifer pulling away from Lisa as a result.
The source added, “Lisa has a history of saying way too much in interviews. She usually doesn’t know where the line is, so no one believes that she’s doing this to intentionally upset anyone.
“But that doesn’t mean it hasn’t ruffled a lot of feathers.”
Normally, Jennifer and Courteney Cox are Lisa’s biggest supporters, but this latest episode has strained their bond.
Jennifer’s intense privacy about finances makes Lisa’s candidness particularly frustrating, the insider said.
With the rift deepening, it’s even rumoured Lisa might miss out on an invite to Jennifer’s upcoming wedding to hypnotherapist Jim Curtis.
For now, the cast’s golden years of friendship seem a little less shiny thanks to some loose lips.
