KEVIN Hart’s entertainment company Hartbeat is facing serious challenges behind the scenes, insiders reveal.

Once valued at around £520 million, the media empire has been hit by a series of layoffs, stalled projects, and executive reshuffles.

The turmoil escalated after Hart’s January deal with Authentic Brands Group, which gave him cash to buy out his private equity partner but also transferred his endorsement business, TMZ reports.

Staff reportedly feared this marked the start of a decline, especially as Hart stepped back from daily operations to focus on his film career.

Several planned podcasts and productions failed to launch, and cuts continued through late 2024 and into 2026.

Tensions grew around senior exec Jeff Clanagan, who allegedly pushed employees to back his own external ventures and AI projects.

Meanwhile, the podcast division became embroiled in legal disputes after firing two executives who then sued for breach of contract and trade-secret theft.

A judge dismissed part of the company’s injunction request, calling the claims too vague and broad.

Hart’s team has yet to respond to requests for comment, leaving the future of his entertainment empire uncertain.
