KEITH Urban is reportedly feeling blindsided after daughter Sunday Rose praised Nicole Kidman in a recent magazine interview without mentioning him.
Sunday, 17, appeared on the cover of ELLE Australia’s March issue and spoke warmly about her mother, calling Nicole her biggest inspiration and sharing the advice she has learned from her.
“My mum is someone who has always been so creative and my biggest inspiration in life. She’s a key part of everything I do,” she said.
“The biggest piece of industry advice Mum has given to me is to always be on time.
“I’ve travelled my whole life and my mum is a really good traveller, so she has taught me how to be one, too, which makes it so fun to travel and enjoy all the different places.”
According to New Idea, sources close to the family claim Keith has been struggling with the public omission amid the aftermath of his split from Nicole.
“Keith doesn’t know what to say, but he’s trying to put on a brave front,” a source said.
“He knows he has to be patient; however, this latest snub – so publicly, there in black and white – has stumped him.
“It’s like he doesn’t exist.”
The former couple’s divorce was finalized in January 2026, with primary custody of Sunday and Faith awarded to Nicole.
While Nicole has recently been seen out with the girls, Keith has kept a lower profile, though insiders say he is continuing to follow the custody arrangement and hopes to remain patient during a difficult family transition.
