HARRY Redknapp is looking back on his return to I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here: All Stars, and one moment stands out above the rest: Gemma Collins taking a nasty fall out of a hammock.
Speaking about the upcoming South Africa-set season, Harry said it was the “worst day” in camp — and admitted the cast struggled not to laugh.
The former football manager, who won the show in 2018, reunites with a star-packed lineup for the new legends edition, including Gemma Collins, Scarlett Moffatt, Adam Thomas, Ashley Roberts, David Haye, Seann Walsh, Beverley Callard, Mo Farah, Sinitta, Jimmy Bullard and Craig Charles.
He said: “Good group of people, Mo was there. I knew Mo from Soccer aid, and David Haye….
“And Gemma! How did you get on with Gemma,” asked host Ben Shephard.
“Yeah, Gemma! She’s, uh, she knows everywhere to eat, anywhere. You mention you want to go for any kind of food – she would write a book on where to eat and where to stay.
“The worst day was when she fell out the hammock,” he told Ben and Cat Deeley on today’s This Morning.
Harry added: “We all tried not to laugh but it was difficult.”
Harry shared that he had a great time with the group and especially enjoyed being around Gemma, joking that she knows exactly where to eat and stay wherever you go. But it was her unexpected hammock mishap that became the unforgettable camp moment.
The new All Stars series was filmed in South Africa and is set to premiere on April 6, with a live final taking place in the UK on April 25. Hosts Ant and Dec have already teased that this version of the show features even tougher trials than the regular series, including extreme aerial challenges and intense eating tasks.
With returning fan favorites, bigger stunts and plenty of classic jungle chaos, the new season is shaping up to be a must-watch reality TV event.
