GEORGE Clooney has opened up about the surprising party his wife Amal threw for his 65th birthday – and called it ‘dangerous’.
The Hollywood star, who recently jetted into London to support King Charles at a high-profile event, revealed Amal invited friends to celebrate, catching him off guard.
“She had friends of mine show up and surprise me,” he told The Sun. “Most dangerous thing to surprise people when they are 65.
“You could drop at any moment.”
Despite the cheeky warning, George assured fans he “did have a good birthday” and added with a smile, “I am still standing. barely.”
The event marked a rare moment where the usually private actor let slip a glimpse into his personal life, showing Amal’s flair for turning a quiet milestone into a memorable occasion.
George was joined at the London event by Amal, who was there to present the Women’s Empowerment Award, underscoring the couple’s blend of star power and humanitarian work.
On the same night, George also shared a charming encounter with TikTok star Max Balegde, complimenting his brown suit with, “You look good, you look very dashing.”
Max will no doubt cherish that moment.
While the birthday bash might have been a bit too lively for George’s liking, it’s clear Amal’s surprise made the milestone one to remember.
