SIR David Beckham is keeping it real about life after receiving one of the UK’s highest honours.

In a new radio interview, the football icon revealed that his children hilariously asked whether they’d get any “extra privileges” once he became a knight.

Beckham, who was awarded a knighthood for his services to sport and charity, said the family joke came soon after the big moment.

His response? A playful no.

He laughed that, aside from updating his notepaper for thank-you letters, not much has changed since becoming “Sir David.”, according to Daily Mail.

The star also called the ceremony one of the best days of his life, placing it alongside his wedding day and the births of his children.

Along with the funny family moment, Beckham shared how proud he is of his youngest son, Cruz, who is pursuing music with his band. He said Cruz has been working on music since childhood and is now performing shows around the UK and Europe
