DAVID Beckham has officially become the UK’s first billionaire sportsman, the Sunday Times Rich List reveals.
The football legend and his wife Victoria have amassed a staggering £1.185 billion fortune.
Their wealth surge is credited to Victoria’s fashion empire and their production company behind the hit Netflix documentary.
Beckham’s commercial deals with Adidas, Pepsi, Armani, Coty, and the Las Vegas Sands hotel group have also fattened their bank balance.
But the biggest boost comes from Beckham’s US football club, Inter Miami, which he founded in 2018 and owns 26% of.
The club’s star-studded lineup, featuring Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, has driven its soaring popularity and value.
Meanwhile, Oasis legends Noel and Liam Gallagher make their Rich List debut with a £375 million fortune, thanks to their reunion tour and music rights sales.
The Beckhams now sit well ahead of the King, whose wealth is estimated at £680 million.
Just behind David is Lord Sugar, with £1.1 billion from property investments, and Sir Paul McCartney leads musicians with £1.05 billion.
The Sunday Times Rich List remains the definitive guide to Britain’s wealthiest, charting fortunes from property to music royalties and beyond.
