DARRELL Sheets, beloved star of ‘Storage Wars’, has died at the age of 67.
Lake Havasu Police confirmed the reality TV favourite was found dead at his Arizona home early Wednesday morning.
Authorities say Darrell died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, TMZ reports.
Officers were called to his residence at around 2 AM and pronounced him dead at the scene.
Darrell, known as ‘The Gambler’, was a fan favourite on the show and appeared in 163 episodes before retiring.
He ran an antique shop called Havasu Show Me Your Junk after stepping away from television.
The star had a history of health problems, including a heart attack in 2019 that required surgery.
His last public appearance was in December 2016, when he spoke about contract disputes with A&E.
A&E released a statement expressing sadness and sent condolences to his family and loved ones.
Darrell also made guest spots on Jay Leno’s late-night show and Rachael Ray’s cooking series during his career.
His death marks a sad moment for fans of the hit reality series.
