CHAZ Bono and Shara Blue Mathes are officially married.
The couple tied the knot March 8 in an intimate Los Angeles ceremony after nearly a decade together.
Their love story actually began much earlier. Chaz shared that he first met Shara more than 40 years ago when they were teenagers at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute.
Although they knew each other back then, their romance rekindled in 2017 and grew into the relationship that led to their wedding day, according to E! News.
The ceremony took place at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, which was styled with a dramatic, romantic look featuring burgundy and deep purple flowers lining a black-carpeted aisle.
Shara wore an A-line wedding gown with lace sleeves, a scalloped neckline, and a veil, while Chaz chose a classic black tuxedo. Her bouquet featured purple orchids and red flowers that matched the ceremony decor.
Cher attended the wedding in an all-black ensemble. Chaz, the son of Cher and the late Sonny Bono, described the marriage as deeply meaningful, saying Shara makes him feel complete and calling her his partner, best friend, and the love of his life.
The couple has mostly kept their relationship private over the years, though they have occasionally shared sweet tributes on social media.
