BRITNEY Spears is reportedly feeling positive and hopeful after completing a rehab stint following her DUI arrest last month.

Insiders say the 44-year-old pop star views her time in treatment as a much-needed reset for her troubled life.

Sources told Radar Online Britney is “doing well really well,” adding, “She’s healthy and happy and feeling very positive and excited to start afresh.”

The singer entered rehab independently on April 12, determined to focus on her mental health rather than just substance issues.

“This isn’t about one substance in particular, it has a dual purpose … this is about Britney putting her mental health first and taking some time for herself to focus on the things that are important to her,” an insider explained.

However, the process hasn’t been without challenges.

Britney reportedly struggled with going cold turkey, feeling shaky, light-headed, and anxious without her usual coping mechanisms.

Since leaving rehab on Wednesday, Britney has been spotted relaxing in a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon around Calabasas and Westlake Village, appearing calm and rested.

Her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, have been a strong support system, with sources noting she hasn’t touched alcohol since her arrest.

The pop icon faces a misdemeanor DUI charge with an arraignment set for May 4, but she isn’t required to appear in court.

For now, Britney seems focused on maintaining her sobriety and mental wellbeing, continuing counselling remotely as she embraces this fresh chapter.
