BRAVO is reportedly putting The Real Housewives of Miami on pause, with sources saying the break is expected to last for the foreseeable future.
The update comes after growing speculation around the show’s future, especially after Season 8 had not started filming as expected earlier this year.
According to Page Six, cast members were informed before the news became public.
The current group includes Alexia Nepola, Lisa Hochstein, Julia Lemigova, Guerdy Abraira, Larsa Pippen and Stephanie Shojaee, with Kiki Barth, Adriana de Moura and Marysol Patton also part of the extended cast circle.
The reported pause follows declining ratings for the Miami-based Real Housewives installment, which wrapped its seventh season with a three-part reunion in October 2025.
While the series has built a loyal fan base, it has remained one of the lower-rated entries in the broader Housewives franchise.
There has also been chatter about casting challenges behind the scenes.
Reports have suggested Bravo was considering changes to the lineup, with questions surrounding the returns of Guerdy Abraira, Julia Lemigova and even newcomer Stephanie Shojaee.
Alexia Nepola’s storyline has also been mentioned in connection with production concerns following a defamation lawsuit filed by her ex-husband Todd Nepola in October. That lawsuit was later dismissed with prejudice in December.
This would not be the first time The Real Housewives of Miami has gone on hiatus.
The series was previously paused in 2013 after Season 3 before making a surprise comeback in 2021. For now, fans are left waiting to see whether this is another temporary break or the end of the road for the Miami franchise.
