BLAKE Lively and Ryan Reynolds are reportedly planning a break from Hollywood as their messy legal fight drags on.
The couple, currently living in New York with their four children, face a bruising court case involving Lively’s former co-star Justin Baldoni.
A judge recently dismissed 10 of the 13 claims Lively made against Baldoni, who she accuses of sexual harassment during filming.
Despite pledging to keep fighting, insiders say the legal woes and negative headlines have left the pair desperate for a fresh start.
“Blake and Ryan are desperate for a fresh start away from all the stress and misery that’s totally taken over their lives,” a source told Radar Online.
The drama has also reportedly cooled Lively’s friendship with Taylor Swift, who was drawn into the case after texts surfaced suggesting she mocked Baldoni.
Tinseltown insiders say Lively has become a pariah among some Hollywood circles wanting to avoid the ongoing controversy.
In response, Reynolds and Lively have been spending more time in the UK, where Reynolds co-owns Wrexham AFC.
They own a home in Europe, which insiders say offers a quiet refuge from the constant media storm.
While they will likely keep a US base, the couple appear set to relocate temporarily to clear their heads and rebuild their reputations.
“Things can’t get much worse than they are right now,” the source added, underscoring the couple’s urgency to escape the turmoil.
