BEE Shaffer and her husband Francesco Carrozzini have ended their marriage after almost eight years together.
The Vogue boss’s daughter and the Italian filmmaker, son of the late Vogue Italia editor Franca Sozzani, announced their split in a joint statement.
“After ten wonderful years together, we have decided to separate,” they said, adding they remain “the very best of friends and devoted, committed parents to our son.”
The couple share a four-year-old boy and have asked for privacy, making this their only public comment on the matter.
Despite recent rumours of trouble, Bee and Francesco appeared united at the Met Gala earlier this month, where Bee still wore her wedding ring.
They married in July 2018 at Anna Wintour’s Long Island estate, followed by a second ceremony in Portofino, Italy.
Colin Firth officiated the nuptials, quoting both Anna Wintour and Franca Sozzani, who sadly passed away in 2016.
Bee, 38, is a Broadway producer known for shows like the 2022 revival of “Plaza Suite” and the musical “Parade,” while Francesco, 43, splits his time between New York and Italy working as a director.
The pair first went public with their relationship in 2016 and welcomed their son in October 2021.
Bee’s mother Anna Wintour remains a towering figure in fashion, and Bee has previously spoken about the mix of public perception and private reality of having such a famous mum.
Their split closes a chapter on one of fashion’s most stylish unions, but the couple’s focus remains firmly on co-parenting their son.
