ARIANA Grande and Ethan Slater have parted ways after three years of dating, sources confirm.
The pair ended their relationship several months ago but have stayed friends, maintaining respect and admiration for each other.
A source said, “This wasn’t a decision they took lightly but realised they were better off friends than in a committed relationship.”
Despite the split, Ariana is reportedly “happy and focused” on her upcoming “Eternal Sunshine” tour and new album “Petal.”
The couple met on the set of the musical “Wicked” while both were still married to other people.
Slater was married to his high school sweetheart, Lilly Jay, with whom he shares a son, while Ariana was married to her now ex-husband, Dalton Gomez.
In 2023, Slater’s ex-wife publicly criticised Ariana, calling her “not a girl’s girl,” but insiders defended the singer, stating she and Ethan “didn’t do anything wrong.”
Though they kept their romance largely private, Slater occasionally shared intimate moments, like holiday celebrations with Ariana.
Since the split, Ariana has embraced her single status, playfully referencing her divorce during her recent tour performance of “Thank U, Next.”
The former couple’s amicable split leaves Ariana free to focus on her flourishing career and upcoming projects.
