ANTHONY Head, beloved for his roles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Ted Lasso, has died aged 72.
His daughters, actresses Emily and Daisy Head, announced he passed away peacefully from complications due to pneumonia.
They described their father as “extraordinary” and expressed how honoured they were to be his daughters.
Emily and Daisy highlighted how much he loved his work and felt lucky to have collaborated with such talented people across his decades-long career.
The pair acknowledged the deep grief left behind but said his legacy will live on through his memorable TV roles.
They added, “How lucky we are to know we are able to watch him doing what he loved, even when he is no longer with us.” The family requested privacy during this difficult time.
Anthony’s wife, Sarah Fisher, who he married in 1982, sadly passed away earlier this year in January at the age of 62.
His fans and colleagues alike will remember him fondly for his warm presence on screen and lasting contributions to British and international television.
